Skiing in -22 is cold, but when we have our biggest snowfall in years there is no question – you put on twice as much clothes, keep an eye on your friends nose and hit that fluffy powder!
It started to snow quite late this season, but when it came it did not stop. Unfortunately my broken rib from the last bike crash was still hurting so I missed out on those first big powder days. In January I was ready and I had some great skiing. So nice to be back on the big skis and enjoy the deep snow together with friends. When you haven't skied for a while it is easy to forget how happy it makes you.
Some of my favourite runs have never been filled with so much snow before. When I look back at my snake track in the snow – I wish I could rewind time and do it again. Probably good we can't, because I would still keep on doing that same snowy snake-line forever. At least it feels like time is slowing down when you are enjoying those magic powder turns.
