This trip to Europe has been quite enjoyable. It is always special to be able to cross the ocean and play in the Alps. The bonus this trip was the great snow. Chamonix, Courmayeur, Engelberg, and St Moritz all provided some amazing turns. On top of that, I was always surrounded with great people.
To put icing on the cake, a Perfect Moment crew and some good friends from Jackson went out in the helicopter to take photos and ride some lines. Turns out the icing wasn’t as soft as we were hoping. The winds up had been super strong and appeared to come from every direction. Any aspect we found had a tough layer of crust or was very firm. It made for some tricky riding and kept us off anything big.
The day was far from a waste. It was a great time hanging with the crew and being on the board is always my favorite place to be. We even found some powder on the way home in the lower forest.
Now I am on my way back to the States for a little reset before my next Euro adventure. Very excited to be home and spend some time there. At the some time, I am looking forward to my return to the Alps.
