GWYNVER BEACH
Less than two miles from Land’s End, Gwynver beach is an exposed point break with serious surf pretty much all year round. The boisterous sister to the more beginner-friendly Sennen, strong swell can reach six feet, with A-frame peaks on a good day. Though the banks can shift, the power of the waves rarely attenuates, so you’ll need some previous experience and an Imok full wetsuit to handle the force of the ocean. Situated at the base of steep granite cliffs, you’ll need to be prepared, too, for the long path down through the sand dunes (we suggest pulling on our Vale leggings and sturdy sneakers).
